Hi.

How long does it take a blog to settle down to a natural position on google?

The blog is around 2 weeks old, after a few days, it was page 56, then 49. Couple of days after, it was not indexed.

Checked again 5 days ago, it was page 12. Couple of days later, not indexed again, now today, back to page 12 ;)

Any info appreciated.

Google Penguin has been weird.

ONe of my sites kept oscillating from no.4 to nowhere to be found. It changes every day or so.

I'd suggest waiting longer.

I have a blog that have done good from the start. I think using "the author tag" linking to my G+ and a G+ page helped a lot. Using the author also shows your profile image in the SERP, so it can also help on the ctr.

I don't expect any sites to be "settling" for a little while. Since Google's last update sites have been bouncing all over the place.

No one can predict the BIG G , after the recent update its more fluctuating. I suggest wait for a while give it a go to 1 -2 months. Then you can calculate as per the average position :P

for better position and for long time you must have quality content and high pr back links so you must be following these instructions.

Do you mean when you search your site domain? Because I'm not ranked in anything but my site name after 1 month. Am I doing something wrong?
