That is a very broad question. Ranking depends on the niche you are in as well as the competition. SEO is an ongoing process and is not a "set it one time and forget it" deal.

I post articles to my site every day and rankings go up and down all the time.

Hey Mate,

When you say you did "SEO for it" are you referring to ON-page SEO or Off-page SEO?

I'm sure it's ranked you are just not digging deep enough

Strange question ! Is your site indexed already ?

Are you sure you are asking the right question here ?

what are the results when you search for "site:YOURSITENAME.com" on Google?

what do you mean rank 0 ? are you talking about Page Rank? if it's page rank you are talking about then you've got to do some reading to understand about factors that affect page rank.

You might need more seo, if your site is one month old I'd suggest waiting at least one more month.

It usually doesn't take me much more than a week. Do a Google search for site:yoursite.com.

The best way to get anything indexed IMO is to simply Facebook Share, Twitter tweet and Google+ share. I would imagine if you submit your website to Google webmaster tools/analytics then you will be found faster as well.

Just keep building links as well - you will be indexed soon enough.

Well that's prerry much not enough.
Start creating backlinks - there is no way to rank without it.

Ok if i understand backlinking it would be like sharing my articles when i publish them to sites like facebook, twitter, stumbleupon, reddit, and others like that?

Ok so your website is indexed but you aren't ranking for your keyword yet. The only information any of us can give you is to keep building high quality back links and you will eventually make an appearance. How quickly you rank depends on the quality of links as well as the organic competition of your keyword.

Also try to check more then 10 results in Google. All this forum is about how to rank so start reading because there is looong way ahead.

If you need fast index. You can use "Social Bookmarking" or "Content Curation".

If you need PR. You need to work hard. :bootyshak

You need patience with seo mate. Keep building quality links.

First I would like to thank you all guys for the quick answers and help.

I dont seem to understand what consist of " Building Quality Links "

What i understand from it would be : Sharing my links to my Socials accounts aka Facebook page, Twitter, Stumbleupon, Linkdin

But i dont think that is what you guys mean right?

I'm not into buying link services because i heard alot of bad about these like people get thrown back into last pages and I'm looking to build a high quality site that will provide great content to my readers in the niche, i plan on creating products and some affiliates sales, maybe turning it into a membership site too. So yes i want it the more natural as possible.

tho i'd like to get to understand what is link building correctly and the basics of using keywords to rank to pages 1

I just ran SEOQuake and found in the keyword density tool that there was Total number of words: 995 found but most of them are just garbage i dont know how they got there??

Plus: I ran SEOQuake diagnosis and it says that my wordpress site has no robot.txt file, how can i fix that?

I would say it all depends on the amount and quality of your content!
