Hey guys

Just recently built a site, the first one in about a year. With a fresh .com domain (not aged). Stuck some content on there.

Going after longtails and image traffic. Nothing really highly competitive.

How long should it take before I should start seeing some search traffic if all the on site seo is done? seems too take a longer time these days.

Is there anything I can do to boost it like link building etc? I usually leave link building till its a year old and has a lot of content.

If you just want to rank your site just based on content then please increase its size up to 100K-1 million pages (indexed in Google) ...

For less competitive niche, I suggest you for few contextual links including Press Releases and Web 2.0s.. You will see considerable difference in your traffic.

Thanks Seb.

I understand all that but I was talking in terms of getting it off the line. At the moment it seems the search engine spiders don't even visit the site! Its two weeks old but I have 90+ posts on there already (mostly image posts). Just dis-hearting when you get no visits lol

Use scrapebox and get expired twitter user accounts that have good/decent ranking. Then use different content and tweet about your website but not at the same time. Do like 8 one day, 4 another day and so on. I'm pretty sure 15+ will do

For a new site, try to improve the quality of the article. I mean that doing ON-page SEO makes the good effect on ranking. If you done this, your site may rank within 60 days without doing OFF-page SEO that I guess. For instant ranking, keep focus on longtail keywords. If it has low competition, then your site ranked easily and it makes enthusiastic like you got the jackpot.

If you don't do OFF page SEO, then change the contents and update the keywords regularly. Because it is necessary for indexing in Google SERP while it crawls regularly.

My sites are ranked in 7 months with proper guide of webmasters but still struggling to find own method to rank.

Its depending on your chosen niche website. If you have done all the works properly such as on page optimization, quality contents, social shares, low competition and you have the wast amount of traffic then its get the quicker results than your expected time limit. Otherwise, you need to analyze your website and focus on building the work on what you have missed or incorrectly.

I usually build tier 2 and tier 3 backlinks as well. It's important to build Tier 1 high quality backlinks and build some strong backlinks across those tier 1 links. I have seen many good results with this strategy.

The important thing is your keyword , get fast with easy

Tiered links are helpful however to measure the rate it also depends on your sites age. New sites with no previous history in google or archive can take some sweet extra time compared to resurrecting a site that was once prominent in google and has history that google would appreciate. Be sure you've got links at all the highest auth sites to help with indexing your pages. Then shoot for Do Follow links!

Entirely depends on your Niche competition.

its depends on your keywords mate .it take some time around half year

Continue posting good quality contents on your site and slowly start building some contextual backlinks relevant to your niche. Web 2.0s will help in improving the ranking along with Tier-1 backlinks.

To bring your site on ranking you must have to go through step by step starting from on-page optimization, technical seo and then focus on creating quality backlinks through content marketing, social media promotion, forums, web 2.0, business listing these are the few techniques which i mentioned here it will helps you a lot for ranking in search engine within time duration of 2-3 months.
