How long does it take to index a new website?

I submitted my sitemap days ago as said and Google has read my Sitemap-Index. But Google doesnt found the sitemaps in the sitemap index? Does it take time too? Thank you. All my sitemaps are tested with several tools and works fine.

If you submitted via search console generally google indexed it within 24 to 48 hrs

Just use url inspection tool in gsc, get indexed in a day.

Nowdays Google Take Time to index 7 days for minimum

From my own experience, it depends on how much content you are adding to your website, if you start a website and add only 1/2 posts let's say, expect will take even 3 weeks. If you add 2/3/4 posts per day or at least 1 per day, can take from 3 days to 1 week. Make sure you add the sitemap on google from start.
Normally when I start a new websites, before I let google start indexing my website, I add 5/10 posts before releasing the website, first crawler for a new website is fast indexed and if you continue adding new posts each day, expect in few months your new posts will be indexed in 1 minute. It depends on how active is your website. If you add only 20 posts in 1 year then google is busy with different websites.
