How long does it take to Ahref index my backlink?

I did build some backlink follow my competitors such as Pinterest, Behance, Medium but when I check on Ahref, there is no backlink there.
Did I do something incorrectly or it needs a long time for Ahref to index?
I'm a newbie in SEO so please forgive me if this question looks stupid.

It can take a while. Their robot must crawl is and then include it. I think you can help this by requesting re-crawl of the linking page.

Keep in mind though, that Ahrefs is nice but you want "someone else" to see your link ;)
 
Better to check if your google search console has it or not.
Or just google your public url of backlink created.

Since Ahref bots take a lot of time to index the backlinks you create.

While I don't place much value on Ahrefs crawling my links, it appears to be faster than Google for me. It crawls and includes some links faster than GSC does.

If it hasn't still done that for yours, I think there are ways to get ahrefs to crawl them.
 
Can be anything from a couple of days to a few months for me.

That;s true!

It even picks up neg SEO spam that search engines don't even bother indexing.
 
Better check if Google has indexed it. After all, it's all that matters!

I understand that we need to see if google index it's or not.
I have just checked and some backlinks are indexed by google but some are not.

Yes, some domains are not indexed, maybe that's not good anymore to have backlink with them.

You can build some backlinks to your T-1 links to index them. But, it's not required if you can wait.

As you're a beginner, you should understand that the nofollow links have no effect on your rankings (unless they are from authority sites like Wikipedia). You should try to build guest posts and links from high authority sites.

Ahref takes much time to show your backlink stuff than Google and Webmaster.
 
I think it takes about one or two month. Ahref crawl the certain amount of data links faster and more often than the others. It points to a page where you got your backlinks, it will be raising its crawling priority. Because it's speeding of crawling depends on high DR and few page priority first. Depending upon DR and page, Indexing your backlinks will differ. So you need to wait.
 
Why worry about ahref indexing?

I would rather prefer ahref does not index my backlinks.
 
Actually, I need to do a quick check at some time and I'm a newbie so maybe that's the easiest way to check my work.
Of course I also check on google performance too :D
 
Somewhere from couple of hours to never. At the end it's just another 3rd part tool. Also keep in mind that ahref removed 301 redirects from showing in your backlinks.

You don't take care for crawl the backlinks in ahrefs because its not help for google ranking
 
i dont think aherfs is good tool to follow our back links and analysis, always shows me most of links lost whether i check them manually its still working.use other tools too like semrush and google search console.
