In general, there are 2 ways to get 'certified';

1. As an individual - You just go take their tests, and when you pass, you are certified.
2. As a company - You will be known as "Partners". And the requirement is that you need at least 1 person in your company who is 'certified' and manage $10,000 spend over 90 days.

Also as of the 1st of this month they removed the $50 fee for taking the exam as they moved to the new Google "Partners" program.
