I’ve recently dove into YouTube shorts again. I had a decent bit of success on one of my other gaming channels with it. I started a new channel and have been posting consistently for the past 3 days and I have no seen a single view yet. Is this because it is a new account? Does it take a few days? Usually on tiktok it would only take a few minutes to see my first likes and views.

YouTube's algorithm takes time to learn and adapt to new content. Many yt videos have a large number of likes in a short period of time, indicating that they have a huge audience or that they have purchased traffic for their videos.
Can it takes weeks? It is still sitting at 0 on all of my videos since I’ve posted them.

It can take months or even an year. It depends on quality of content. If quality is really good, it will not take that long.

It took me about 4 days till my videos finally hit. Key is consistency and quality content.

I think it will depend on whether your video is interesting or not. If it is really interesting, the views will increase very quickly.

1 or 2 days, after being on 0 did not get that many views, still content was not interesting at all, I recommend you to check hastags, try to change a little the way you title the shorts and create the content, try to upload it at hours where your audience might be able to see it, after noon or at night.

The videos are interesting, have a hook, and subtitles and gta gameplay too. Not sure why I haven't got a single view.

I made a eye catching title, I didn't use hashtags because most other people aren't but the content is good, nothing wrong with it. Not sure.

If you don't get views in several hours for a short just forget about it.
Yeah it’s annoying. They’ve gotten views on my other account but nothings worked on this account.

you share your content on social media .and wait 3 days nothing take more days and continiously uploading new content.

I've seen shorts sometimes blowing up even after weeks or months. Posting consistently is the key.

What different are you doing from millions of other short creators? Unless you make something unique, there is no way for it to go viral.

Just started a shorts channel last week and this has been my results so far, But its a far cry from 10 million. Will probably use shorts to get 1000 subs (which im very close now) and than get a really high quality longform video up for the 4000 hour monetization method. Im not really seeing a path to hitting 10 million with shorts in 3 months but maybe ill get a magical boost everyone talks about.

Btw it really helps to use an aged already trusted account. You can farm these by simply opening brand accounts and throwing up a single video for a few months

It depends on your content quality. If you upload good quality content and trendy content, it will hit very fast otherwise it will not or lengthy.
