Just to reiterate from other threads, I have a very old Ecommerce site that I let just kind of go to hell until recently. It is full of Premium content. it was pretty much off the radar in the top 100 for all the major key words until recently.
In the meantime, there were some Junkie backlinks with all kinds of anchor text some of them porno, some of them super over optimized Niche related. in total it is 247 domains. this is a manufacturing site.
After optimizing everything on page, including all of the images, it started coming back to the 70s and 80s. although there is some landing page work that I need to get done, it basically surpasses all of my competitors that are in the top 20 as far as content. These keywords are low to mid-level competition due to the very tight Niche that we are in. However, when you do get into the top 10, you are pulling in six figures. I know this from experience from 7 years ago.
In the last month, I have added a number of Premium High da links, including several da of 80s and 90s contextual and light niche do follows. Lots of tightly Niche related to Follows in the 30s, 40s, and 50s as well. I was making progress for a good while and then now it seems to be stuck. I have no manual penalty, but possibly an over optimization penalty do to backlinks and nothing on site though though I'm not really sure yet.
It appears that from the few High da links that I had from before, and the really rich assortment of super high-quality Authority ones that I have now, all Niche related, that I should be in the top 10 based on my competitors analysis. I did an audit of their landing pages and backlink profiles, and I think that I and exceeding what most of them have.
I was wondering what your guys's experience was on the timeline between when you added High da, High Authority backlinks, do follow , and when you actually started seeing results. Thanks ahead of time!
