    Hello

How long does it generally take for a new domain with a few pages of unique content to start getting traffic from Google? there are about 20 backlinks pointing to the website that have pr1 to pr6. And some of the keywords on the site are fairly popular.

Depends on how competitive the niche is. It can range from a couple of weeks to years.

Its usually pretty quick, just promote it. I build new sites every day and they start seeing traffic that day, get your routine down and build link/social bookmark.

It all depends on the quality of your content + how competitive your keywords are...

If your website is about Viagra, you will be having a hard time since there are millions of websites out there filled with shitty spam about that and it is a very highly competetive keyword.

On the other hand, if your website is on a good keyword with low competition, it will only take you a couple of weeks/months to start seeing good traffic.

I have a website that is only 4 months old that is making me a good 300~400$/ a month since the last month... Only getting 90~110 uniques a day.. 400 bucks is not a lot of money nor is the traffic but I consider it v good for such a timeframe and basic whitehat promotion... My keywords are semi competetive which is why I am seeing somewhat good results...

It can be instantly, to days, weeks or even months. One quick an easy way is to sneak a link into Wikipedia back to your site for the niche you are in. Should get a decent amount of hits in no time. Not sure if that method still works though, have heard of a few people who have tried it out.
