How long does it take before twitter bans an account?

You can easily post 25-30 tweets with links per day without getting banned. Iv'e posted up to 50 spam tweets. The only thing that they seem to look at is the hashtags. If you spam 5 or 10 tweets with links that contain a trending hashtag you get banned. Try not to use hashtags and you should be fine.

If you send the same link to random people it can get shut down in 10 minutes. If you don't believe me, I dare you to spam me on Twitter.

Most people don't report tweets though.

2. Will i get banned if use hashtags relevant to my niche?

I only follow. I don't favorite. Its ussually 500-600.
I don't think you will get banned if you use relevant hashtags. It has only happened to me when I used trending hashtags that had nothing to do with my niche.

It was the same web link. It don't really matter though because shortners only shorten a link once I think.
