I have been building backlinks to my money site, including web 2.0 pages and what not, but google hasen't indexed even one of them. How long does google take to index links? It has been 3 weeks now. It's a fresh domain btw.

Have you done anything to let Google know the links are there? i.e. pinged the links or built backlinks to your web2.0 properties.

Ya I recommend pinging the web 2.0 or backlinks that lead to your main site.

I would really appreciate if someone could answer to my related topic as well.

Ping the pages on your MS as well as the web 2.0s/build backlinks to your site.

This kind of question is being asked over and over again. And the answer is always the same.. "IT DEPENDS"

Backlinks from authority sites and high traffic sites tends to be indexed very quickly, some less than a minutes. However some links like profile backlinks will be indexed very slow and some/most cases it wouldn't be indexed at all.

You can do some thing to speed up the indexing of links like:
Pinging
RSS submission
building links to your links
signing up to indexing/crawling service like lindexed and linkilicious and etc.

But As i have said before, this thing does not guarantee indexing although it will get your link crawled...

Thanks this helped a lot...

Lol, that actually will help you :D

It takes about 30 min with at backlink from ex. Digg.com. (Big authority)

But it might take several months with at backlink from "John's website about poop shaping dog faces" (Low authority)

It's all about authority... :-)

Either way, ping your backlinks, to let google know that they are there. You can use pingomatic.com for that :-)

Im spamming all my web 2.0 properties with scrapebox, as well as pinging them.

Guess I can only wait and build more in the meantime :)

Actually it's deepens on many things. I have on my newest authority sites all high quality articles 1500+ words and google index every new one in not more then one day, without any bookmarks etc..

Google doesn't like to index low quality links. If your links are low quality there is no benefit to Google indexing them. If you want them indexed you'll have to work to get them indexed.

High quality links get indexed on their own.

Haha, google just indexed a bunch of my backlinks lol. Guess posting here has it's uses :P

Hahaha

I just waited dude, but its pretty funny they where indexed one day after posting here lol.

Building backlinks to those links will really help.. You can use backlink energizer or something like that...

Ping.fm works for me ;) Good luck for your future backlinking endeavors!
