I bought an expired domain and build a website on it five days ago, but it was still not indexed, the backlinks and history of the domain are clean. I have another expired domain and google index it within two days.
So is it normal? will google index it? what shall I do now? I had created the sitemap and used the ping

You may have bought a domain that has been de-indexed.

If it was previously used as part of a PBN, it can have a "clean profile" and still have been de-indexed after a manual review from Google.

Wait a few more days to see if it gets indexed, if not you're probably screwed.

First, Buying Indexed Domains only should be your Priority. There are many reasons for a domain to get de indexed in past.

if only Homepage is indexed then also you can buy it. I bought a domain with only Homepage indexed. But i didn't had any problem to indexed inner pages as i started adding content to it.

I don't know if it works or not but when I buy expired domain then I use http://www.submitexpress.com/free-submission.html (random fake email with no submission to google) and I get my domains indexed within a few days.
As I said I'm not sure if google naturally picks up my domains or this submission works... it's just what I do personally.

The other problem I have with a few new expired domains is that it takes google quite some time to start crawling my domains regularly... From my point of view 3 days between google visits for the main page is too long.
I'm very patient with my expired domains... I let them sit there with content then I build a few links to them but I do not rush anything.

Use Google Webmaster Tool for reindex your domain, & also do manually some good quality web 2.0 and high PR - do follow social bookmarks, your domain will get index within 5 days

Before you buy a domain, you should check if it is still indexed in Google.
The problem is that it might be a spam domain or a domain that has lost indexing after a long time of inactivity.
For this reason, it is not easy to recover and you can't be sure that this domain will be indexed again.

Wait for few more days till it get indexed.. If it takes more than a week then the domain must be the De-indexed one..

Couple of possibility's here.

#1: If its been dead for a LONG time, and you setup a static site, Its entirely possible its simply not been crawled. Blogs and such tend to ping themselves when they get setup; but plain-html and some php CMS dont do this. So its worth running it through some ping services if this is the case.

#2: Like Gyuman82 pointed it, the site could have belonged to a blog network. An easy way to answer this, is to pop it into the Waybackmachine and see what content was on there before the last drop. If it was a legit site, your in the clear. If it looks like some low-quality blog, has affilaite links, or obvious blog-network posts, your out of luck.

#3: Pop it into webmaster tools. Sometimes this alone will give you "Archived" notifications of penaltys and stuff. If none of show up, it was not part of a PBN, and pinging it did you no good, hit that manual "Index this page" button in webmaster tools.

#4: Start over with a new site if none of the above helps. Your probably out of luck.

PS: I'm assuming your using original content on this site. The only other thing I can think of would be that your suffering from duplicate content. I would select some random sentences from your content and run Google searches in double quotes..

IE: "Sentence 1. Sentence 2. Sentence 3" and see if any results shows up.

Check the Wayback Machine and see if the domain was previously used for something spammy. Very often you'll find that spammers (frequently Japanese for some reason) have exploited the domain already.

I've had expired domains take weeks to index. But if you are in a hurry, link to it from youtube and it should get indexed pretty quickly.

Bought expired domain, start posting content 2-3 weeks ago. now have 3x500 article hand written.
Checked using ahref that links are not spam (in fact many links from authoritative site in that niche) and waybackmachine does not show site been used for PBN or anything dodgy

Why after almost 3 weeks of posting content, my expired domain still not indexed? need help...

I have the same problem. Should I submit my domains to GWT with different Google accounts?

Yes, you have to remove all the unnatural links and request Google to index your site again, unless you give request they won't index an expired domain(if it was already deindexed)

I used SEO power suit to create disavow lists to send to Google Search Console. It was the easiest way, a great aspect of SEO power suite. If you have SEO power suite you could do a research about this procedure. Pretty easy. If you don't have SEO power suite it may be a little (not so highly) expensive. But I think there may be out there a software for free which could do this job.

Try sending some social signals to it. If that doesn't make it move, might be penalized. To be sure - add it to GWT and see what kind of messages you get.

Have a little patience, you might have bought a dud but give it a few weeks just to be sure. If you've noting after a month then you can pretty much call it a dud.

Like Accelerator said a few social posts can only help to get it indexed too.
