How long does Facebook page shadow ban’s last?

A few days back I posted a video that went viral on another page. After about a half hour I got a message saying something along the lines of “parts of your video have been muted due to copyright”

Since then when I post my reach has been under 100 on a page with 315k fans. How long should I expect this to last?

Try mixing up your content with viral images and see if it affects only the videos or all content. Even a simple text post might give you more insight.

From previous experience, it can last as short as 3 days and as long as 1 week. As another member stated above, mix up with some viral images.

Yeah the shadow ban is still going. tomorrow afternoon will be a week. Hopefully it comes off.

Last night I posted. It was doing fine until about a half hour in then the reach stopped and the post interactions stopped as well.

Max it would take 1 months .

I know this thread is old, but how long did your Shadowban last? Currently going through this and it’s driving me crazy and I can’t find anything anywhere.

Hi Hazzie3089, has your restriction been lifted? My facebook page is recently got banned from sending message. Now, I cant reply my customer anymore. Im really worried . I dont know how long it will last.

I'm a page admin with 12k+ followers so basically from 7th January '2020, My posts usually reach 5-10k people in an average but from that day I'm getting very less reach not even reaching 100 people. It has been 4 days since that incident. I don't know how long it will last. I guess this is shadowban. Usually Instagram Shadowban gets normal in 14 days. I'll let you know if it is fixed. Thanks

Thanks for replying my message. Did you make any mistake that causes shadowban? Or it might be applied for everyone ? I havent heard about Shadowban before. My page also has 12K followers and it has the same problem like yours.

Mine lasted 3 days, after that it slowly increased. Don't know what caused it?

Brother/Sister I also have 12k+ followers and 8k+ likes on my page, I made a meme of a TV Show then after it reach 900k+ people,
The owner of the TV Show copyrighted that video, I got so sad because that was the video for what my page got 12k followers from 694 followers,
But i thought no problem, I'll make more memes but the next day, My page got unpublished, which means it got private, I got so sad & horrified becuase it happened to many of my other friends whose page got unpublished and never came back but then i appealed to facebiook as there was a option of it, so they reviewed my page and published it again, I was now so happy but after i uploaded more videos, I got barely a reach of 1k, where approximately my minim umreach was 5k and max 20k before, I got so sad, And then i told my friend, he said it's shadowbanned, one of them said it's permanent, one of them said it will last barely a month, I searched about it on Google, Some articles said it would be fixed in 14 days, but it has been 16 days, but still not fixed, some people like Jeff Bannon of this thread told it would last maximum a month, So i will know the result when a month is finished. And it will happen in 7th February.

And Yeah It is TRUE that it has been a month (31+ days) but still my followers can't reach to my posts, only the followers who pressed the button "See First" can see, I think it's permanent, I tried contacting facebook tons of times but i failed to save my page

How do you get in touch with facebook support to appeal restrictions?
