How long does a video have to be in order to get ranked?

I read something about this that said it has to be 30 or 45 seconds minimum.
Anyone know anything about this?

Check the SERPS to see what video lengths are ranking. I have videos in the range of 30 seconds to just over 6 minutes.

I'd take a safe bet with 30 seconds. But I've seen less.

i mean ive seen 6 second clips that are ranked before vine, i guess it just depends.

I think that more important is the video SEO and not the length. If there was a problem with the length then they will not let you upload videos to short or to long

Video length does not matter much I have ranked many 10-15 second videos to the top of YouTube and Google.
