How long does a backlink take effect...

Hi everyone from the forum, i wanna know from yours experiences how long does a backlink take to rank keywords? I've a site build a year ago with few posts and have used backlinks from BHW and fiverr providers, from my experience both backlinks from each provider has improved some of my keywords ranking , but now i've start a new site with same amount of posts and used backlinks from BHW and fiverr as well. It a been like 2 months but i don't see any improvement at all.

I would like to know what kind of link is best to see fast result.

The effectiveness depends upon the quality of the links. The Ranking depends on your Keyword competition, If you have a highly competitive Niche to rank your site in the Top Position, You need passion and consistent work to reach that.
 
You should run a backlink audit with a tool like Semrush or Ahrefs on both of your domains to see what backlinks you actually bought. In the next step you need to check if these backlinks are indexed at all. If they are not, the links will show up in the tools but have no impact on your search engine rankings.

There is no golden rule on which backlinks are 'better'. Pay attention to domain authority, traffic, niche, OBL and geography. A backlink from a manga website in Japan won't help you rank a Swiss website selling puppies. A backlink from a dog breed forum in Switzerland might make your SERPs move up in this particular case.

Watch the footers of the responses you receive to your post here on BHW. There might be some vendors of backlinks not being that neutral in their recommendations ;)
 
it depends...

If the backlink is not good (I mean, if google doesn't consider it good) you will never rank.

If it's good backlink (and assuming you have lots of them, as I doubt only 1 backlink can be so powerful as to rank you for any keyword) it can rank you within hours of getting indexed

It's better to avoid buying links from Fiverr
If you're building on an aged domain, links could kick in faster
Hire someone from the forum to do an Audit

Hi, the links are indexed on serp . Here's the link bought from fiverr
https://alightmotionmodpro.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-water-based-primers/. The link was indexed within 2 days without using any kind of indexing service
 
It is an important matter. From my personal experience I used to do a lot of backlinks. But those backlinks were not very good so after many attempts I didn't get any results

But when I get a good backlinks I can see a result. So the quality is real

Typical link farm, one of the worst links you can get, the website is even down by now, showing the terrible hosting used,
It's a part of a link wheel as wheel, each of the websites is simply made up to sell links while linking to each other,
Targetting a ton of easy keywords to show up their "real traffic", a mix of EMD & high volume easy keywords (apk mods),
Massive number of OBLs linking to every possible website/niche (including pharma, cannabis, CBD, etc...), basically getting as many clients as it's lasting,
The "DR" is manipulated, it doesn't align with the website(s) links & RDs, the link profile is not as good as well,

You just got scammed for the sake of "High traffic high DR links",
A typical scam that the majority of the SEO newbies fell for today sadly,
The links are almost worthless, they're spammy in fact, their websites will get penalized in a couple of months at most,

You'll end up getting links from a bunch of penalized websites,
and if you bought many of them (package), yours have a good chance of being penalized as well

High traffic, high DR does not mean anything. Nor will it help to push your SERPs. Ahrefs is not Google nor Bing & Co. It's just a scraper, not more.

DR is a joke anyway, but still popular and good money to make with high DR. At least Semrush corrected AS calculations.

Good money to make scamming people*
That's my point, that's what people are doing, and it's been working for them for years sadly,
Many are investing and losing a ton of money for these scams,

It's simply a widely used scam business model with a ton of misinformation shared to support it,
Something that should be exposed and proven wrong whenever we have the chance to do so,
After all, it's allowed legally, so the only way to fight it back is to speak about it, let the people know

People do know. So what?

I have quite a number of customers doing scam only. These guys cheat my neighbours. Is it my fault they succeed? I doubt it. It is my SEO work, and mainly onpage, to make these guys scam.

How can i know if the backlink is good?

Backlinks aren't the only factor to rank your website, Yes it is a factor and a very important one but apart from that there are many things that you should take into consideration. Like.... updating your website often with fresh content, proper on page seo etc...

Coming to your question, I think when the page where your backlink is get indexed your website gets the value at the very moment. Also if the backlink you created gets deleted or the page itself is deleted... that's not good for your website. Many many things man.....
