I am more than able to sleep 10 hours. Which is somehow frustrating. I don't know how to sleep less. I'm too lazy to get out of the bed everytime I wake up after 7-8 hours, so I get back to sleeping.

I believe the reason is my unhealthy lifestyle. Probably don't have sufficient intake of vitamins. And I'm also a smoker. Any tips?

And how long do you sleep?

3-8 hours for me is enough. I think motivation is your best "friend" :)
10h is too much and as bad as 3h is.
Anaways, everyone is different pal. Stop asking yourself such things, accept yourself the wat you are, listen to your body. Whatever suits you. Just be your best friend and get yourself out of the internet more often to lots of fresh air and real life.
    Take care.

Health is certainly a factor. Cutting down how much you smoke is an obvious step to take, if you drink alcohol assess how much and if its an unhealthy amount then cut that down too. Adding a 30 minute jog to your daily routine will drastically improve your health and help you sleep better.

I speak from experience. Just doing those 3 things alone improved my health, mood and how well i sleep. I used to sleep for 10-12 hours and wake up feeling terrible, now i sleep for 7.5 hours pretty much every day and i wake up full of energy.

Put the alarm clock on the other side of the room and never go back to the bed. Do this for 45 days. Set another alarm for the evening and do not go to bed until after it goes off. While smoking and diet play a part, all of them, including our sleeping patterns are habits, and take about 6 weeks to make or break.Change your schedule to do what you enjoy most when you first wake up... so that you get up looking forward to something. None of us are saints, so it is easier said than done. Good luck. BTW, I have my own bad habits.. I never sleep at night. I have 5 kids and work at home, so I work all night, get to sleep about 4-5 hours, then I have to do my daily business with the rest of the business world as well (meetings etc...). I am probably injust as bad as you as I have been on this schedule for years, but I do find I have to get out and about no matter how "SLEEPY" I am so that I do not get "over Tired and lazy"... if that makes sense. Good luck.

    Good tips :D

The gym is definitely a good idea. It should be combined with healthy eating habbits though. I used to go to the gym few times a week about year ago and slept about 7-8 hours a day but I always feel tired.

Well, I am pretty satisfied with the way I live. I'm just sorry for the few hours a day I could dedicate to work instead of sleep.

I don't drink that much actually. When I first started to make more money than I need I was in pub every few days or almost everyday lol. Luckily I realized very soon that it's bad way of living and stopped it. Now I drink 2-3 times a month, not more, sometimes even less.

The jogging seems good. I'll try it. Thanks

Good method with the alarm. I'll try it right tomorrow. :D

I don't know about anybody else, but for me, it's not about how much sleep I get, it's about being in sync with your body's sleep cycle. That is sleeping at the right time when the body is ready, not according to some clock. And never having to be woken up by some alarm, that's the worst. You wake up when your body is ready to wake up. I've slept 10 hours and felt horrible. I've slept 4 hours and felt effing great.

I know for a fact if I sleep at 11pm, I'll wake up at 2am, always, no alarm clock needed. Find your body's sleep pattern and sleep with it, not against it. And if you feel like sleeping for a couple of hours in the afternoon, for godsake do it. Your body will thank you. Trust me.

6-9 hours a day. If you want to get up early from bed and not get back to sleeping, place your alarm on the other side of the room where your bed is. Then you will have to get up and turn it off. Once you're up. get dressed and start your day. :D

I grew up having night terrors every night when I was a kid, so it sorta turned me into an insomniac. So I'll say 4-5 hours a night is my average now. Give or take.
