How long can they usually last if you aren't doing anything too aggressive, just following a few users, maybe up to 10 per day or so?

Depends on the actions them taking : follow, unfollow, status, private message .. any kind of suspect things will lead to an investgation and domino suspension.

I have 10,000 email verified twitter accounts. However, the emails are going to be closed soon because they are inactive email.
Therefore , twitter will ask for email verification again. I am wondering if my accounts are going to be suspended?

I've never had to verify an email more than once on any account, aside from when I need to change or alter the primary email address.

Have ever your associated email accounts got closed? In such case, twitter will ask you to verify your twitter accounts again. You can try to close an associated email accounts and check if what I said is true or not.
