how long do i wait?

there is domain name i want but i cant get it, its more than 40+ days (Registry Expiry Date - gone)
the whois says this

maybe domain is on "grace" period where owner still had time to renew, then it becomes available to the public.

Generaly speaking after a domain expires it enters a grace period of 90 days during which time only the previous owner can buy it
