How Long Do Fake Followers Last?

Someone sent one my new accounts like 16,000 fake followers. If anything it makes my account look better as it looks more established. The likes per post still puts the engagement rate at high above 10% so it's still legit looking. But just wondering how long they'll stick around before Instagram removes them?

Your concern should be: "When IG finally removes them, will I be left over with a flagged account".

If you have such a high engagement anyway, stupidest thing you could do was adding fake followers.

I have tons of cases where the "slow and steady" always wins from the fake stuff. I see more and more accounts which get limited in likes, no matter accountsize, content and powerlikes.

...?? When did I say I added them? The guy who hacked my main account sent them to one of my secondary accounts. I would like to know how long it will take for them to be removed. I have absolutely no confusion or concerns about how to grow an account, my main is at over 900k and I plan on getting my other accounts to that point as well.
