How long do dances last?

Alright, so I ordered a link wheel off of fiverr that will link to my money site. After it delivered, I went from the first spot on page 2 to the third spot on page 4. How much time should it take for me to get better ranking or go back to my old rank?

no one can give you a definitive answer. it could be a few days to a few months. longest i have heard is 6 months +. buy a bookmark package. i hear this helps with google dancing. but then again, ever since the penguin update, nothing is solid

It depends on many factors:

1. you might just be hit by the recent update
2. the spammed anchor text might be what gave you a penalization
3. the Google dance usually let you see a good SERP jump before you go all over the place.
4. your link profile BEFORE the links coming your way
5. the authority of your site when it comes to the search terms
