How long before content is copyright protected?

I have a question related to the time content is protected from copyright. So I want to buy a website with content. This website has been put online since yesterday and the owner has sent the sitemap in search console yesterday. If I buy the website + content, put it offline and transfer the content to an other domain, will Google see this as copyright infringement

Search engines / SEO has nothing to do with copyright.

Copyright is applied by default on any original work, it can be offline. Author of the work is the "issue" here not search engines. They can take legal action.

What I think you are asking from SEO perspective is, if you can re-use content that was live on another website. Yes, you can, for as long as the original is removed from the index.
