How long before Backlink "value" is recognised

How long before Backlink "value" is recognised

Assume a backlink was build today, approx how long does the backlink contribute to the SERP of the website for the "Keyword" that it was build on
Some people say 2 weeks, some say 1 month.

I wonder if anyone got any answer for this.

For my case, I got 2 sites and I was building SEO on it, until my site was like 3 to 4 weeks old, then the site went to "Page 2" then slowly to Page 1. I would said it as 2 Weeks.
But what do you guys say

I think the backlink value get recognised as soon it gets crawled by the Google..

It depends on when google crawl through the link. If the link site is popular and SE friendly the backlink will be indexed by google in the matter of seconds

Index yes, but what about the value ?

Let's say a site link to you, with the keyword , but do your site move in SERP when it got index or it delay like 2 weeks before your ranking dance.
