How long after losing a link does it disappear from GWMT?

So I've lost a link, once g has crawled the site and sees that my link isn't there anymore, how long until that link stop appearing in GWMT?

It could take 2 weeks or maybe months. No one can tell exactly.

It takes 24 hrs or high timing is not guarantee. But, It can be achieved soon by 404 the page OR blocked by robots.txt and then submit a request the page will be removed.

I guess it all depends, I've made a lot of tests with Wikipedia links. I once had a wiki link placed for one of my sites which made it jump from 3rd page to top 5 for a low/mid comp keyword. The link was then removed in about 2 weeks. I expected it to drop within days, but in 7 months time the site is still ranking.

I have had some disappear in days, others have taken months. There really is no definitive answer, time takes time.
