How lonely are you?

people are not lonely .. but sometime it's just FEEL loneliness even we have tons of activities or relations.

I'm not very lonely. I share my apartment with a friend and study in the same college.
Since I live near campus, the whole neighborhood has only college students.
Every week I have a party with different college students!

I have been alone many times, but not lonely.

Become a friend to yourself, then you will not need someone else to validate your existence.

Don't get me wrong. It's good to have friends, but it is also good to learn how to be alone. You can learn a lot from solitude. In solitude, there are no distractions. Thus, your focus becomes laser sharp.

Totally Agreed

So all this talk of loneliness and my comment made me want to go and see if my advice was any good.

Saturday (10th of Nov) I went to a MeetUp for entrepreneurs at a bar for network. And honestly, it kinda sucked. I mean the people were all nice, but most of them were wannabe's and it was all just people repeating the same shit over and over again..... Person A asks Person B, what do you? Person B tells his story. Person B asks Person A what he does and he tells his story, then Person C comes and he introduces himself and asks Person A or B what they do, then you gotta hear that fucking mess all over again... and it just goes on over and over again. Had to leave about an hour early (it was a 2 & half hour event).

But I still believe if you go to the right hobby or event you can make some good connections. Did I make any interesting connections, nope - like I said, they were all noobs and I was looking to connect with people actually doing the work, not just playing around. But I might go to another event again soon and see if I have better luck.

Working from home kills your social life :D .... But it has its benefits like being able to fap when ever, being lazy in bed and all that stuff. :D

Well I was working alone in my appartment for about 5 months.
Then i found a friend-partner. And now we work together. This is much better :)

When I started working from home living by myself I thought I'd get lonely, but actually I rarely ever feel lonely.

If I want female company I can just go on Tinder/Bumble or message some girls from the past, there's plenty of lonely single girls who want company, or get a GF. I see my friends as much as I can, they also come to work in my office sometimes. I try to go to work at coffee shops/cafes/restaurants with my laptop.

I am someone who likes blasting trance, being weird and incredibly particular about my sleeping conditions, so living with people doesn't work for me.

OP i had same your situation , i moved to different country with different culture -Turkey- and now learning Turkish language with offline group 2 times weekly , i found moving and start learning new language with offline group is really helpful , if you can't move at least try to join group for learning new language you like + going to gym multiple times weekly .

Start with hitting the gym bro. Like seriously, go there 6 times a week.

agree !

When I feel lonely, I browsed the BHW forum. Was browsing WF years ago, but that forum sucks now.
