Can i rank a keywork with a subdomain unrelated to the main domain? Example: I want to rank "ice cream for dog"! The subdomain will be icecreamfordog / domain / c=m! But the problem is...i want to use an unrelated main domain like "myworld / c=m"! Can i rank anyway or not the subdomain "icecreamfordog / myworld / co=m" for "ice cream for dog" Keywords??:)

Sorry for = but i can't use link!:)

    Flydownbass,

You can use a sub-domain to help you rank that keyword however the impact it will have is marginal. It is a combination of many things that will help you rank for a keyword and not just the domain name.

Maybe you can find more guidance here,
