What is the role of Myspace in SEO activities, and how does it contribute to improving website rankings and visibility?

Myspace, while no longer the dominant social platform it once was, still holds some historical significance in the world of SEO, particularly in terms of its role in link-building and social signals.
 
Myspace for SEO in this day and age? I think you'd get better results shouting into the void, honestly.

If I don’t consider the past, I would also like to know how many Myspace users there are now and what age group they are in. This is the most important issue that SEOs care about.

The group of people who use Myspace are mainly the elderly. The middle-aged and young people rarely use or even do not know about the existence of this social network.
If you want to do SEO on it, you can provide products suitable for the elderly.

Myspace was good for sales in the early stages when it was popular and had a lot of users. Now I see the market on myspace is very bleak.

Myspace isn’t really helpful for SEO today — it’s outdated and has low traffic. Focus on platforms like LinkedIn, Medium, Reddit, or Quora for better SEO value and visibility.
 
Myspace’s user base has shrunk dramatically, so any links or content there have minimal reach.
 
It's been 8 years since I've been back, the account still exists but I can't log in because I forgot the password. I changed the phone number to register. Is creating a new account still useful for Myspace, firend?

Really? Entering this section, I felt like I was lost in a new world and was about to learn about it when I saw that most of the posts were criticizing Myspace.
 
tbh I’m wondering the same, idk much about Myspace in SEO these days either. Been doing local SEO for a few months but never used Myspace—I’m curious if it still works for rankings. Glad you posted this!
