I have a few accounts on youtube running well, but reading the forum, there are so many people telling their stories about how their accounts are being banned.

Will you get your account banned doing this?:

    1) create the account with a proxy , after deleting coockies
    2) upload 4 o 5 watermarked videos , not using any bot or software to spam comments or positive ratings
    3) modify profile (avatar, color of the channel)
    4) NEVER LOGGIN IN THE ACCOUNT IN THE FUTURE, so everything is going to done in the same day.

I have been watching a few videos this afternoon and checking the data of the channels. It was hard to find a user with an alive account that hasn´t logg in from a long time ago. This makes me think that probably youtube is starting to delete accounts "all done in 1 day for spamming" and "old accounts forgotten by owners"

What do you think about this?

    thanks

Well, I guess they have to clean up their database at some stage.

Wouldn't surprise me that you need to log into your accounts occassionally to keep them alive.

In other words, ¿how many of you think that youtube is not for long term any more, in order our accounts will be banned in 2 o 3 years time, it doesn´t matter if we don´t use any automated system?

Edit: I made a search of old videos. Most of the videos that were upload 3 or 4 years ago are in channels/ accounts with recent activity. I Check like 200 channels with old videos and only found 3 o 4 accounts that haven´t been used for long time and of course, no watermarked videos or any spamming shit on those channels

Definitly, we have to log into our accounts, the point is: if it´s created using a proxy, then probably we´ll have to used a different proxy later to loggin. And you know the risk of using 2 diferents ip on the same account....

It would make sense that they clean house every once in awhile.

Accounts only get banned when you abuse the living shit out of them. Like botting up your own video with comments with day old accounts.

Best thing to do is let them age a bit. Fix your accounts up and add an image (avatar) for your channel. A nice background graphic works as well.

But the KEY here is to not abuse the accounts. Let them sit. Age them bastards like a fine wine

Then work with them slowly. Then you steady yourself a bit. The key is not to raise the red flag. Once you get to this, you can then do whatever you need to do without having to buy new accounts.

My 100 account army has yet to have one casualty. ;)

Ever hear of the old saying "Slow and steady wins the race"? This is so true on YouTube.

Like BigJim says, I have about 150 accounts with profile pictures, some with complete layouts, some just plain, and they all work and get beside every spamming campaign :)
