how is this website exactly monetizing its visitors

Now I know that the website is a CB affiliate and is selling some eBook. What I want to know is if that "submit your e-mail and name, and complete a quiz" thingy is earning them any money too (besides collecting the e-mails) is it some kind of a CPA thing?

I want to know because I plan to do something similar and wouldn't want to rely on sales only. Will CPA networks really pay for just a name and e-mail submit?

Yes some do pay for leads. Big companies like Netflix ,etc

Tons. They're called Email Submit offers. You find them on almost every affiliate network, like Neverblue, Peerfly, Maxbounty. Also called First page submits. They convert very well.

I've just tested it, after entering e-mail address redirects you to small quiz then finally CB sales page

Yeah on peerfly it's called "email and zip submits"...
