I'm getting some referrals from this site and a couple sites like it. Basically, the site is copying questions and answers from yahoo answers and other Q&A sites and reposting them.

How exactly is this done?

It's definitely a script of some sorts. Too bad we can't post our own answers on this site. It would be gret for backlinks.

i have seen this alot, especially if you ask a question on g000gle search.
you if cant come up with a question, go to yahoo , find an old question, post the question in g000gle search ... and look at all the copycats.
you might also find scripts on a site if you use an addon for firefox called "firebug"
