Yes you can. But you have to do some works to promote your blog. You have to do seo for your blog. Then you can earn as much you want...

Celeb gossip readers are the bottom of the intellectual barrel (no offense lol). Send them to free trial weight loss, skin repair, etc. Just get traffic and put up ads.

a large number of people are making money with this niche, you would have a high competition in your selected niche, so it will be depend on the news and content that you share on your blog to grab traffic on your website.

adsense, because i don't have adsense account & my first goal for this blog is to have adsense account
& i don't care about competition because i am going to drive traffic from social media.

Do you have a specific type of celebrity niche? Or is it just celebrity news? Thats probably going to be a very difficult niche to break into honestly, unless you go with something more in depth, such as a specific celebrity or celebrity surgeries or celebrity weight loss or something, but if you do hit the celebrity niche and beat the competition, you can make a lot! Americans love to search for celebrities!
