I was searching for some clickbank products and I stumbled on one affiliate.
His promotion is very tricky.
He uses his own domain in the display URL and then when user clicks on it, he is taken to the product landing page. The URL on the address bar says it is a product's page, not affiliate's display url.
So, this is definitely not iframe.

Also, when you click the first time on his ad, you are taken to his affiliate link. But if you click second time on his ad, you are taken to his fake landing page, which has no offers but only dummy text with dynamically generated keywords that user was searching on google.

We know that display url and destination domain must be the same.
However this guy is somehow able to get away with that. He even got all of his ads approved.

This seems to trick google into believing that display and destination domains are same (because second time you click on ad, you are actually taken to a fake landing page with searched keywords, so the second time, display and destination domains do match, and that is why he gets a high quality score), but in fact display and destination do not match the first time user clicks on ad, but only on the second time.

Do you have any idea how this is done?
What's going on here?

Probably a user of SSEC. I've seen some of them doing some CB promotion and it's make sense because they're good at tricking google with the Fantomas IP list.

He is cloaking, I haven't actually tried cloaking CB yet, anyone got experience in that? Is it profitable?

all the cool kids are using reverse DNS cached IP lists now :)

Can you point out to where to learn more about this "reverse DNS cached IP lists" and what script to use?
Thanks!

Read these pages for more information.

Just add the www and lose all the spaces:
simplifiedses . com /Black-Hat-Software /Landing-Page-Builder
simplifiedses.com /Black-Hat-Software /Blog-Cloaker
simplifiedses.com /Black-Hat-Software /Cloaked-Site-Builder

Hope this helps you understand what is happening here.

I had heard something like this from my friend, but the domain was not included in the URL. Can anybody tell how one can find about this.

Definitely interested in more information on this.

Reverse DNS is like doing DNS check on a domain to see what ip is for that domain, well reverse DNS is check the domain name that is for that ip.

So let's say google comes to your site with ip 1.2.3.4 and you do a reverse DNS on it it will give you bot.google.com so you know it's google.

That is a rough explanation, you can search for more details. as for scripts, not sure which one they are using.

wow thanks for the info in this thread. really interesting and useful
