How is this guy getting away with it?

Hi

I want to sell my own ebooks/programs on clickbank and so I am "analyzing" how others are doing their clickbank selling (website structure, sales letter...).

I came accross this one guy who is selling programs (one for stuttering, one for lisping, one for height gain, probably many others) for like 97$ each (raised from 47$). I searched via google and found out these programs are basically scams. You get a 20 page ebook with not much quality information let alone information that solves the problem. His salesletters are basically all the same just with different product names.

His refund rate must be pretty high I think. I thought clickbank has a no questions asked money back guarantee for 60 days, or am I wrong?

what do you think?

There are a lot of crappy ebooks/programs on clickbank, but if the marketing is good, there will always be conversions.

thanks for the replies. lol, I know that there are many low quality products on cb. What I don't get is how they are keeping the buyers from refunding. I mean if I get a crappy ebook for 97$, I'd surely request a refund. And as I heard clickbank always gives refunds without questions.

Because of the refunds many vendors are trying to oversell with bonuses so I don't understand how this guy can promise the world and not give anything of value.
 
If his refund rate and chargeback rate get to high clickbank will likely kick him as a vendor. He may not get that many sales for those products.
 
lol every clickbank product is just a spammy advertisement. I wasted too much time looking in that market place. Maybe I give people too much credit for being smart enough to not want to give a shitty site a chance.
 
How do you know hes actually getting any sales?
 
Products like that, not many people read it or follow through the end and they don't apply
it or even try the methods mentioned, they just buy them. Most of these buyers are not
desperate enough to try the products and ask for refund when products don't work.
So, refund rates will be low for such products. That's what I think.

Remember Bob? the "Bob" commercials. That's how Enzyte got into trouble years ago: if you wanted to get a refund or stop the auto-billing you had to get a notarized letter from a Dr stating that you had a "small penis that would not get hard". And then, even the few hardy souls that DID send the letter didn't get their refunds. That last part got Enzyte prosecuted for the whole scam.

There are some actually funny stories floating around the net - the fine print of the refund request was brilliant in a sense that no male was going to go to the doc and ask for that letter and then get it notarized lol

The amount of money that it brought in was MIND BLOWING!

The moral of the story boys and girls? You may get away with fraud for a little while, but if you piss off enough people, you'll end up in a "pound me in the ass" federal prison. Even if you piss off a few, you are going to at minimum lose that money you made PLUS interest.. :P
