How is this guy doing this - what tool?

So I ran across a thread at WF for a social bookmarking service...and this guy is able to blast to 1,200 social bookmarking sites...says he is constantly scraping new sites, so you'll always get a fresh domain.

Any idea on what tool this guy could be using...maybe it's something developed in-house? Bookmarking Demon maybe?

Disclaimer: I've not used this service, nor am I the owner of this service, but am merely trying to figure out what the heck this guy is doing.
EDIT: He also says he gives you the actual bookmark URL..so I'm thinking this isn't BMD..

That is true but it is a long way to do it, Because BMD doesnt give you the actual bookmark url it gives you the account url you then need to use scrapebox to get the actual url.

The length of time this takes is the reason that I didnt go down this root. I needed the actual bookmark url to actually get the bookmarks indexed otherwise it wouldn't be as effective.

First you have to define a "social bookmark"! He could also scrape just a few 1000 pligg sites as they are "social bookmarks" aswell. Then he could use whatever, SickSubmitter, LinkFarmEvolution etc etc to post the shit out of it.
 
if I have to take a wild guess, he is using Xrumer with custom Mod. I have BD and doing 1200 successful bookmarks could take a long time, even if you run 100 connections at a time. Not to mention that you will have a very hard time finding so many successful sites to add in BD - I have a list of 1700 sites that I've scraped, searched every forum, Google, etc. and I get around 200 successful bookmarks in a single run when not using captcha service.

It could be custom made tool as well, I am 99% sure that harrymctavish will let us know how he does it, share his tools with us, and post a step-by-step tutorial along with videos and screenshots ;)

Yeah these sites are pligg adn phpdug sites with all the big ones integrated like reddit, digg etc. Posting to this amount of bookmarking sites can make a site appear from nowhere to page 1 quite easily. Have done this over and over again. The indexing is the key part to these bookmarks.

I would really love to find out what tool you are using - feel free to PM me...

I run gazillion link-building projects per day and sell bucket load of link packs and BD is the only tool that slows me down. I was looking into the new Scrapbox learning feature to see if I could train it to register accounts on pligg, scuttle, and PHPdug sites, and then do the bookmraks, but it was looping like crazy and eating capthcas without any feasible success.

Working Xrumer mod would be the best since it will solve most of these capthcas and is super-fast.... If anyone reading the thread has a working mod and is willing to sell, or can point me in the right direction, feel free to PM me.

Well when you get the account URL you will need to feed the account URLs into scrapebox and then run an link extractor on it. This is a crude way to do it and you would have to take out a lot of the guff. It is a long process. This is why I do not do this.

Extracting the links isn't bad at all. I get around 4mil links a day with scrapebox just running through during my spare time.

Mmm I don't think there are 4 million bookmarking sites never mind 4 million bookmarking sites a day :D:D:confused::confused::D:D

Yeah the link extracting isnt hard it just takes time to work through and get all the individual bookmark urls. This is what would take up most of the time.

Yup - Custom search profile in scrapebox (to look for sites to post on - Pligg or Scuttle sites or whatever the hell you want - they take bookmarks)

Then whack them into BMD.

My last run thorugh for Scuttle, Scuttle Plus and Pligg got me about a quarter of a million results. Mostly complete crud - but a few tens of thousands of good ones in the mix.
It takes time (took scraprebox about 11 hours and rotated 70+ private proxies to make sure I stayed under the radar) - but I was in bed at the time, so not really an issue.
