An year back someone shared a site on BHW named 'afiavillage dot com'. It was an amazon affiliate site receiving tons of traffic from Google. It was ranking for thousands of low competition keywords. The site was using the same content template for all its post (word to word) the only difference among the post was the small product descriptions. Rest of the content was same and titled such as "how we select the winner product"
Adsense team review for one time only. Initially they write a few high quality unique content to pass the review phase. Once done, they start copying sites. This is how auto blogging works nowadays.

You've really seen nothing about spun, ai generated content,
I've seen many posts in the forum sharing websites that ranking with such content for millions of keywords here in the forum,
just make a little search and you'll find many
I've made an experiment myself and set a website that basically copy and spun content from a different website and simply post it,
never done any link building to it, neither anything else, just set the them, logo, design, etc and for left it... and here's what i've got

many posts are ranking in the page 2 for some medium competition keywords and i'm sure with a little investments in links, it can make much more
the only thing that seems weird for me, that some posts sometimes appear for a while in the SERPs, dissapear then appear once again, but i've seen too many people reporting this for new websites, especially with poor link profile
most of the posts are indexed and performing basically just a normal website, some of them even ranked above the original website which copied the content from
The best thing about this all, that i'm using a free spinner for this and most of the posts are 60% or even less unique
So, if you think google really rely on the quality and unique content, you must rethink this
Overall, ai and spun content can be really useful for too many niches and can be magically profitable sometimes,
but you need to have a solid plan and be aware of the risk sometimes, because what works for a website, seems to not work for many others
