How is this blog post shows up on Google Maps?

Hi,
I came across something I don't remember seeing before.
This is how the restaurant shows up in "list view" in Google Maps (Android):

This is how the source shows up inside the GBP:

Out of hundreds (if not thousands) of recommendation lists around the web, this website got featured on Google Maps.
As far as I know they're not a specially reputable source, just an advertising agency that created a "recommendations" list on their website.
So what are they doing different? How did they get featured on Google Maps list view?

Google aggregates non-Google data into the entity data behind GBPs. I haven't seen these types of listings myself but google is rolling out new data into GBPs with the updates over the past month.

I suspect we are going to start to see more content added to GBPs from third party sources. Partially because Google wants to combat fake reviews by diversifying their data source but also to combat their growing legal problems around exclusively showing more google content in SERPs and less organic links and third party data. When AI search rolls out, it's probably going to kill featured snippets and PAA.
