Hi everyone! I've been working on a squeeze page for my first marketing campaign, but I need your opinion on what I could improve. The point of this page is to get the user's email. Instead of offering ebooks, I will be trying to convince the user to leave his email because he will receive more tips by email and diet reviews. I've also added like buttons from Facebook, Twitter and G+. I was trying to make a good looking page that doesn't look like the typical squeeze page (the one with the big red arrow pointing to the email box).

(By the way, this page would be in the diet niche)

The design is OK but imo it all depends on the pitch (both video and text) in the end that is the thing that will entice your viewers to leave their email address and not the color scheme :)

It looks terrible imo. You need to improve the design. I would never enter my email address in a page that looks like that.

Your squeeze page is crap, so focus more on the sales copy than and you'll get a nice design of how your sales page needs to look.

It looks okay. You could add some images related to your niche.

Crap is a bit rough since you have no idea about the content. Sure its nothing speicial but till op puts the content you cant know that its crap I for one applaud the efford for something unique as far as design goes in the weight loss niche who knows with a good sales copy maybe he will get the signups he wants... as i said it all depends on the pich and not as much on the design.

From a design perspective, there are no glaring errors in your colour scheme,
albeit I think the colours are a tad garish for your niche. The amount of white
space you have in your design is sufficient and the arrangement of the design
elements is good.

One suggestion that you might consider is to change the shape of the outer
elements because rounded corners are reminiscent of the bygone era of the
"sparkly" Web 2.0 design trend. It's all about flat design now and those have
clean, straight edges.

I have no other comments to offer on the effectiveness of your squeeze page
because you haven't put the video and copy up yet. Like others have said, it's
all in the sales pitch.

Best of luck to you.

Thanks everyone for the replies and the comments. After a quick re-colouring (and some small re-design), I've instead opted for a red on gray color scheme, which looks a lot better. I will probably be adding a couple images on both sides of the page to make it look better.

Dude, are you in a niche that this lander will damage due to it's resemblance to a forum from 2006? It has simplicity going for it, and nothing else. As long as the sales copy you put there pushes people down to the video, and the video keeps their attention, and pushes them down the page even more, then you could be OK. Good luck!

it's looking old age page..

In my opinion it looks too simple. There's something weird about this page. I'd recommend looking for templates. Less work and better outcome.

Colors not very actionable, partially for call to action buttons - they use to be in saturated and vivid colors, like yellow, orange, red... you have lots of stuff to improve, but hey - we all had to start from somewhere.

Not a big fan, like others here have said, I'd go for a more flat design. Or a parallax page that guides the user down.

1st and Main Condition for a Squeeze/Lead Capture Page is "Email Capture iFrame should be above the Fold"
I mean "Email Submit Form" should be seen at first impression to get Best Optin.

Doesn't look professional for me, people will think twice before put their email.
and I don't like that yellow / orange theme color, but it's depend on the product/offer.
if you have a hard time building a squeeze page, try hire a professional, = saving more time, and better conversions rate
