Hi, my website is about free stuff, everything that free etc...and I am planning to choose slogan is "King of free castle"

English is not my mother language so I am not sure this slogan is correct

Please advice

Thanks

"king of free castle". I can't even decipher what it means.

That doesn't sound right. Rather try something like "King of free stuff".

Unless you're signing a letter or introduction, and your website is called "Free Castle", thus making you the king.

If it's a rhyming pun on "king of the castle" because "free" can rhyme with "the", then it might make sense I suppose.

OP, I can see what you're getting at but it sounds a bit clumsy and not really native english. Give more info on what you're trying to say, I'm sure someone'll come up with a good suggestion.

If "Free Castle" is a place, then "The King of Free Castle" would be correct.

So if you owned a business named Lord Mulligan, then "Lord Mulligan: The King of Free Castle" works just fine.

Of course, this is just an example as you didn't tell us what "Free Castle" was referring to in your slogan.

I don't understand what you mean. You should replace the word castle by something that is more specific and related to the stuff you're promoting.

We need more details because by itself that slogan doesn't sound right.

Thank you all for your replies. My website is about free samples, free stuff and freebies. I mean everything free will posted on my blog

Okay, then perhaps the following slogan would be much better than the current one on your site:

(Insert Sitename): The Free Thing King

No it's not right, it doesn't make sense.
How about free stuff fit for a king
Or live like a king for free
or land of the free
...

Here are a few additional slogans based on the site name

  • Whateverfree: The King Of "Free" (a reference to the King Of The Hill)
  • Whateverfree: Whatever, It's Free! (this one might be a good choice if your target audience consists of brash adolescents)
  • Whateverfree: Free Stuff Fit For A King
  • Whateverfree: The King Of Whatever's Free
  • Whateverfree: It's Royalty-Free (a reference to royalty-free content)
  • Whateverfree: It's Royally Free (a pun on the expression "royally screwed")

Thank you for your advice, I like the slogan "Whatever, it's free"
How do you think about this slogan: The Free Center Of The World
Is it good ?

The Free Center of the world doesnt really sound that good. You should go with what Zwielicht said.
