How is My English?

I am a newbie from 3rd world country with limited english skill as well as budget capital to start, lets say, a proper semi authority site.

Now like you can see I will have a hard time to develop and grow a good semi authority site.

I can’t write good enough content that can be used on the site due to my non native tongue. Buying content will be a solution for people with lack of English skill, however, just like I said, capital is also a problem for me.

My only solution is to just write as much and as good as I can, and simply publish them to my site. Remember, I can always edit those articles later anytime I have the capability of doing that. Be it by myself or paying someone whenever capital allows.

Rewriting other site contents, from different sources to avoid problem in the future, would be a good way to start churning content as I develop my writing as well as English skill.

Of course I will need lots of content for this project. At first I will have to target at least 100 articles with at least 1000 words each. That would require a good amount of elbow works on my part. I will still need to post and make internal linking as well, for better user experiences as well as on-page SEO purpose.

My estimation, it will need at least 2-3 hours to collect data from different sources and rewrite it properly, and post it. Maybe it will cost me more times due to my lack of focus habit. With that in mind, targeting 1 article per day would be an appropriate target for me. Targeting 2 articles a day, for example, will most likely made me burnt out easily.

I will still need to create backlink, right? That’s why I will only target an article a day and use the rest 2 hours of my time on that day for backlink task. I will use web 2.0 sites for initial backlinks since it will not cost me a dime but my time. Content won’t be a real problem here cause it will only for link building purpose, not for human readers.

I think I still can write 2 articles a day for link building purpose. It will be enough if I can write consistently each day, which I’m not really sure I can do that, lol.

Now, I don’t need you to criticize my plan above. It’s just for writing idea only, I have my own plan for my site(s).

What I really want to ask you is, how is my English? On the range of 1-10, on what level will you value my English? And more importantly, how to improve it?

My target is to be able to write my own article for my money site. What do you think?

It's great, but be more formal, for example instead of saying now like you can see, say: As you can see.

You have a decent writing, but try to think like native English, not translate from your own language.

Additional advice: Each paragraph should contain only one idea, and don't get back to the same topic later and repeat what you already said. Keep the sentences short and use powerful words. Keep in mind that there are some grammar errors that can be found, (mainly word order) but all in all you are doing awesome.

My Two cents: Have a central theme and keep writing. Good research produces good results and can articulate the core theme of the article

It's neither bad nor good. You need more practice in order to write articles and post on your money site. Try taking some online courses in English language learning. It may help you to be better at writing. I'd say go for it. I was in your shoes when starting in internet marketing, many years ago.
It is way better writing average articles (you'll improve your skills with every new article, read or written) than sitting and waiting for a miracle to happen...

One of many things I learned in both IM and offline business: Native speakers (especially Americans) don't give a fuck about grammar and styling (unless reading a novel). They care about the message, whether it is entertaining to read your words, whether they find what they are looking for...
The only people who'd criticize you for your grammar/styling mistakes are English teachers, and those who have English as their second language.

It's hard to judge your English from a thread like this, as you're explaining a problem you're facing in really simple terms. If you want feedback, you can PM me an article of yours and I'll give you tips and feedback on how to improve.

Bottom line of the reply I gave to the other guy is - focus on developing your intellect and teaching skills, the main purpose of your articles is to convey information in a creative and entertaining way, not show off with fancy words.

Though, you should try to grow your vocabulary gradually by using a thesaurus - https://www.thesaurus.com/. Every time you notice a word is being overused, switch some of them with synonyms. If you're a good teacher in your own language, you can practice by writing (drafting articles) in it, then translating. It sounds time consuming, sure, but you need to train your brain to think in one language, and write in another.
If there's good content in the niche you're working in, you can read 5-10 articles per day in your native language to get a feel for how to write, then employ those ways in English.

I also don't recommend taking any courses in particular. Waste of time as developing a language takes years. Courses are meant to iron out the weaknesses in your language comprehension over a veery loong period of time through constant practice and tests. You don't have the luxury of time right now, so you'll get much better by writing than by taking courses.

It's always possible to pair up with someone who can proofread, preferably a friend of yours as this is a very long-term project, but you can also pay for a proofreader given you can afford to do so.

So, focus on informing the reader well, making the article dynamic and entertaining to read, relating to the reader well, formatting in a way to make subheadings for particular keywords easy to locate at a glance, et cetera.
Grammar comes last.
Get grammarly premium if you can afford it. Look for a discount coupon online.

Tbh you're better than me. Even tho i am speaking/writing in english for more than 12-14 years. Good job and congrats.

As someone said before, try to improve your way of thinking in english; this is a mistake i've never been able to do. All the time I am just translating from my own language to english and can't think like an english native.

Also try to improve the formal english. May I not touch your p***? it is way better than can I touch your p**** ? (i meant pie.)

@Adivertising , thanks a lot. Yes, my sources of English learning are mostly from forums, where people are actually talking in non formal conversation. I should read more formal sites like news sites. And yes, I still translate my own language into English. I didn't write in my language and translate it, but I still just translated what I have in mind (in my language) into English. With more readings I hope it will get better.
