How Is it Possible to get Forged Google Page Rank Sites...

i see a lot of sites selling backlinks on forums for sites that have page rank 5, but their website layout looks so amateur and so little content on it,

yet they have a huge page rank. i look through yahoo site explorer for the sites linking it and only 20 show up, and they look as if they are link farms of his own.

can anyone tell me how its possible to achieve such high page rank on such a bad website?

Its not really the quantity of backlinks but the quality. Maybe he has only 20 links but all are very high PR. Or maybe he had more links and what you're seeing is his old PR, when google updates PR then maybe his PR will drop.

its a good scheme to pull off on digital point forums to all those people who think buying backlinks will get them to number 1 on google.

how often does google update PR?

but if you look at his backlinks, there are only 20 and link to other link farms

if this was a domain bought off somebody with an already high page rank, the backlinks in essence should still be present after selling it...

Google updates PR roughly ever 3 months but also does random updates for random sites.
