How is it possible that these channels are monetized?

Browsing youtube I found a channel in my language ( Italian ) with over 200k subscribers. It publishes very old Italian films, around the 80s, and monetization is active by looking at the code. How is it possible that they can skip checks and get paid to upload movies?

By buying an already monetized channel and respecting some things you can do it...

There's probably some editing here and there
maybe they're too old to have copyrights

Watch the movie uploaded to the original version, some editing Nd changes therein

That's easy the weird thing no one is searching that many old movies. So, the views are mainly from phone farms or bots i guess to make money

youtube.com/@HollywoodEnglishCollection/videos
youtube.com/@hollywoodmoviecollection/videos

these channels uploading roughly 10 years old movies(not that much old)
they have some kind of list from which they know which movies are not registered in content id copyright check system

No They are Registered In Content ID System You are Wrong But These People Have Access To MCN and CMS and They Can Easily Whitelist Their Channel From Claims Through Managed CMS Until Youtube Disabled Their CMS But in the mean Time They have made soo much money and buy another cms and this cycle goes on.

it is weird checking the names of the movies are incorrect and 2 I saw are names of old movies out of the copyright reach, maybe that is why the algo is not detecting or could be just lucky who knows.

Yes, could be but my best guess is someone has a very good setup that gets views on these videos.
I have seen 100s of different youtube channels like this. The second the video is uploaded they start getting 5k-10k views which feels bot like because there are no comments.
