My approach is to build a team—plain and simple. In my office, we're investing in technology—which scares me, because I usually hire more staff. Now I buy more technology and monthly subscriptions for human functions on my F-ing computer. That really works, but it's crazy being a business developer for 20 years. This recession is a quiet beast and I hope everyone prepares properly. I don't mean to be pessimistic.

The worst possible outcome of the global recession is not worth being scared. I'll work so hard to worry less about the recession.
 
People expect to much for free these day's and wont spend that's the problem. The internet is a broken paradise of dreams.

Its not a recession, its a depression

My test orders in the SMM panel are still in pending status, even if I send a ticket, no one responds, I think it is a sign of recession or that I just got my hopes up

Try a different SMM panel. Not everyone ignores you and keeps your orders "Pending" forever. Some of us do it right.
 
Make sure you grow plantations at your home ground (if someone doesn't have to make it at their balconies at least) and it can suffice for mimimum 3 months of yield when the world breaks. Everyone has some other cash balance for survival but the plantation really helps during immovement.
 
All these replies are silly. Yeah the recession is already here and I think it'll get a lot worse in the next 2 years. For me I'm trying to find good niches to pivot to.

Ecom sales are down yah and marketing agency sales slowed down as well.

I started my marketing career in 2009 so I'm familiar how things might go. I think this will be worse than 2008-2012 though.
