How In Demand Is Article Writing?

You can find people on odesk that chage $4/hour and can write 3-4 decent articles per hour. Sure you might need to fix some errors but you get what you pay for.

On odesk, $4 per hour, 3-4 decent articles per hour??? I've never seen that on odesk. Are you serious? Appreciate it if you can let me know in details where and how I can find it on odesk. Are they from the Philippines? Do I search for those freelancers?

I haven't seen it at odesk too. I have found 1 very good writer on odesk in 3 years. To get it right, I finally had to have an editor review everybody's work. I can produce good quality articles paying a combined cost of about $6 per article. In my opinion, this is not a good thing.

You can also use the Yellowpages to sort out non governmental organizations or associations, they might be requiring freelance writers where there are clients whom pay even $50 per article.

What list are you talking about? There are plenty of lists around BHW as well as the web that is given for free...Even legit websites and forums strongly tell writers to NEVER PAY FOR A LIST. PERIOD. Not our fault you didn't heed those words.

For anyone who cares here are a few lists for your viewing pleasure:

Here is a list on squidoo:

Thanks for the list! I write full time and for three different US firms and am always looking for more options. I have been writing for two years, ever since I lost my job. I really like it and have built up some clients that request me to complete their work on a regular basis.

I wrote an article a while back about building a profitable article writing business while flipping sites, so I thought this might be helpful to some of you.

No native English speaker should settle for $4 per 500 words, I get paid *minimum* $50 per 500 words for some of my private clients.

Hope no-one minds the external link but here's the article: http://experienced-people.net/forum...ting-business-whilst-quot-flipping-quot-sites

Its possible to break into the market of article writing but if you are expecting $5+ per article you will be disappointed. Also, 3-4 articles per hour is very possible. I've had a writer write me 12 completely unique 500 word articles in an hour. They were not spun as they were all on different topics.

I could also tell by the way they replied during chats that they type REALLY fast and have no trouble coming up with content.

Of course, I don't care about such speed anymore. I got a team of writers that can turnaround 1000 unique articles in a week at $3/article. These are all perfect too as I am paying for them to be proof-read as well.

Your best bet at making money with article writing would be to learn keyword research and SEO. Get some articles to rank and if your keywords are even marginally profitable you can advertise a fully cycle service. Of course, you will get to a point where it is more profitable to just write for yourself which is completely fine as well.

Best of luck .

Is the thing about associated content and facebook true? If it true it will be time for me to start article writing again
