Recently I made a huge mistake I think.
I have two websites in the same niche. Bought about 50 articles (they should be unique, but actually they are just well spinned) here on on BHW.
Then I added about 25 of them on my PBN sites. After 2-3 weeks I had great results.

Okay, here is the mistake coming: I thought I can use the rest of the 25 articles for the same PBN websites for my second website in the same niche.
After adding the other 25 articles with my 2nd website, I saw a big drop of rankings for my first website in that niche. Then I found that the articles are just spinned and some of the words are the same.

My thought is: Because of almost the same content on the website there is a big drop in the rankings for the first website.

How can I handle that problem? Should I delete both of the articles (1st and 2nd website) and just write new articles to the PBN's?

Delete Old Articles And Start With New HQ And Unique Articles!!

It might be too late, but that's why people make sure they're always getting HIGH-QUALITY content for their PBN's.

PBN's are a game-changer and you need to treat them as such, spun content is only going to result in events like the one you're describing. Next time you should really go out on a limb and hire a competent writer (as opposed to just hiring someone who will spin them with software).

Don`t use spin contents for your PBN site, It`ll be harm your sites in near future. remove all spin contents from the site and submit only high quality, well research and unique contents for your PBN site.

How about for other tier 1's like web2.0? are they much more powerful when the content is unique?

Unique content is very important. It will help you boost your keywords on top google better and you will have more traffics if you have good unique content.

As of right now for tier 1, uniqueness is all that matters (on all 3 levels: word, sentence, paragraph).

Was the content you used all very similar in structure (sentence/paragraph) and just have the words spun? This type of spun article is very old school and doesn't work the same anymore.

Tier 1 articles don't have to be "researched" or "readable" like some people would have you think (but I would recommend completely unique/HQ content if you're looking to future-proof). My test network uses all mashed up auto spun junk with very high uniqueness (no two article with the same paragraph/sentence structure) and the network is still kicking and ranking sites for over a year now. It might not work in the future, but unique spun article works just fine right now.

Your drop in rankings could be caused by a number of things. It might even just be a google dance. But I doubt spun content is the culprit unless it's badly spun (by badly, I mean spun only on a word level, regardless of how "readable" it is). If it is badly spun, trying changing the paragraphs, sentences around and auto spinning it again to make it more unique.

Don't take my word for it though, or anyone elses for that matter. Do your own tests. Challenge everything you read on a forum and test it for yourself. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how much bs gets spread around on forums.

Like everyone is saying Unique content is a must for PBN! They are supposed to be angels in google's eye's.

I would remove all the spun content and start fresh with high quality articles. The problem is it may be too late, but it's definitely worth a go.

I removed both articles for the websites on the PBN now. I will start to write the articles by myself.
I will see if the rankings for the first website will get higher again.

Unique articles are a must for tier 1 links and so. Don't think of it as a SEO strategy, think what would people prefer more - unique informational articles or spun unreadable content. It all depends on how well you can engage a user and if you're able to provide him what he came for.
