How Important is the domain name?

Hi fellow Blackhat'ers :)

I finally found out to set up autoblogs, and i have decided to make about 10-20 a day the next month (And if i dont become tired of it, longer time ;) )

But.
Lets say i have these blogs:

Jewelry
poker
realestate

Should i then buy a unique domain name for every three of them (jewelry.com - poker.com - realestate.com)

Or could i have like a domain called www.autoblogs.com. and the a page for every blog (jewelry.autoblog.com - poker.autoblog.com - realestate.autoblog.com)


The question!: Will it make me less money with the poker.autoblog.com domain, than with the poker.com domain?

I'd go for jewelry.com - poker.com - realestate.com

I already tried autoblogs on subdomain. it didnt work well.
 
Having the main keyword(s) in the base url does seem to be very important in the Google equation.

It can be overcome by other things like link building, but if you can start off in a good position just by taking a little time to get the right url, I would say that is time well spent.
 
keywords in your base URL.

However, what you can do is something like this.
poker.com
tables.poker.com
chips.poker.com
online.poker.com

And target 4 different areas seperatly with the same domain name.
 
Try putting some words that rhyme into the domain name too. Like, PokerJoker.com or PokerchipsNwhips.com. You get the idea.
 
as a general rule, the domain name matching ur keywords is very important, specially if you are targeting a specific keyword and related longer tails of that keywords, then the domain name becomes very important

but, if you are targeting a niche (not a keyword or a list of keywords) with autoblogs, the domain name doesn't matter too much
 
Use a domain name with the keyword you are targeting in the url. So get one for each site you are going to use. If you can use the keyword as your url that is the best option. You can also use stop words before or after your domain name as google largely ignores them.
