How important is hosting dedicated IP

Right now I have about 50 domains on a shared godaddy hosting account. I have read a lot about links from the same hosting account have no value. So my question is:
Do I need to spreed my sites on different hosting accounts or just the ones in the same niche?
Is a dedicated hosting IP better than shared for SEO?

Nope, you don't have to do anything; I have more than 100 sites and I used to believe all this C-block bull and I had them spread on 7 hosts with a lot of ips; right now the majority of them are on a virtual with shared ips and the rest on my dedicated, again sharing ips - NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL!

Google sends me the same amount of traffic as before; Not all peeps might agree, but unless you have a pretty large site that gets a lot of traffic, you don't need a dedicated IP

Where do you rank on your keywords for all of those sites and are the sites linking to each other ?

it doesn't matter if its a dedicated IP if you are not interlinking the websites at all. It only becomes suspicious when 1 site gets 70 links from the same IP since this would be very unnatural. So only when you link between your own sites i think a c class ip difference is necessary.

If you want to interlink your sites then the ip will matter, like gsmktg said before. Also, if you get on seo hosting then you may want to consider changing your whois information or choose private whois so google cannot see the connection.

actually you can rent a virtual dedicated server on godaddy and you can setup 3 different ip for free to your virtual dedicated servers. and if you need more you can buy more ip's for $2 /month.

Only about five are ranking Mostly for their domain name some Pick up long tail keywords. But they are for Project that I started and moved on.
Now I am working with local business to rank on first page and a lot of the sites would work great if I could receive link value from them. So addding domains it is.

Is It possabe to use those cheep Ip from godady for browsing like proxies?
