How important is Domain Age?

check those domains by spamhouse, legitscript etc before buy. drop domain - is not always good. domain could has bad history )

I remember hearing somewhere that google does look at website age. I don't think it is all that important when it comes to ranking though. Your better off focusing on pa/da and back links.

Link age seem to be much more important than domain age, in my experience. That's still a reason why some older domains may do better, but it's not about age per se.

I guess domain age are not that important unless it has good backlinks and not dropped domain.

The older your domain is, the more inherent authority it gains, and the more aged links it has, the better.

Once you get 5 years, it does make significant difference.

DA is not going to rank your site. But it will put you on top of a competitor if everything else is equal. (it never is).

It appears that buying an older domain might help you in some ways. First of all, it is supposed Google already indexed it so you don't have to wait for that anymore. Its ranking can also be higher. It is also supposed that the domain surpassed the test of time, in other words, if it still exists, it might be trustworthy. But, you have to be careful not to buy an old domain that was used for inappropriate business, such as adult sites that have a spamming history. This can bring upon you some Google penalties.

Domain age is a pretty important parameter that plays a significant role in SERP rankings.

Domain age is an important factor to be considered while ranking your Keywords.

A good website domain age will help making expansion to TRUST factor to Search engines like Google. What's more that is the manner by which it is one of the essential element in your great online presence.
