How important is deleting comments with negative feedback from channel?

I think it's a bad idea to delete negative comments.

I know it hurts if somebody says: "You're an idiot!" or "You're video sucks." or any other type of negativity.

But it is a good sign when people see that you're engaging with the hater and saying: "What do you mean by that?" "Can you tell me how I can improve?"

When that happens, your community becomes stronger.

People aren't looking for antiseptic channels that are beyond criticism.

When you get hit by negative comments, this can be a golden opportunity for your brand to stand out.

You were basically given a chance to interact with people who may not see eye-to-eye with you.

By engaging with them, getting important information from them, and possibly scaling up and modifying your content policies in such a way that satisfied them, you can push your brand forward.

You have to understand that just simply deleting negative comments won't make people change their minds about you.

I would rather tackle this issue and learn from it and become better because of it.

One of my favorite philosophers Friedrich Nietzsche once said: "What doesn't kill me only makes me stronger."

Learn from criticisms.

It's not something to run away from.

Instead, it's an opportunity to learn, absorb, rebuild, and come back much stronger and better than before.

If you don't believe me, look at some of the hottest channels out there.

Look at the channels that make money hand over fist.

Do you think they were perfect from Day One?

Of course not!

They had to go through the crucible, and there were a lot of haters along the way.

The key is to rally your organic community and let them know you are a human channel, ready to evolve, and ready to learn.

That's how you get ahead.

Yeah, promotional campaigns should most definitely be free of negative comments.
It is hard to remove so many comments. Sometimes some videos backfire and it is because of the mistake done in the video. It will be covered in other channels also and there is no way to remove them.

I would recommend just using the block button on YouTube instead of deleting them that way you can keep the engagement underneath your videos and that helps your video get more viewers in the algorithm.

If you're getting good criticism, you should leave the comment but if you feel like the comment will motivate other future posters to be negative in your comments section then just block the person who made the comment but never delete it.

Many people consider negative comments ot reviews for placing order instead of positive.

Lot of negative comments on channel can cause serious issues. Like brands will stay away from such youtubers and not give deals. So, do you remove negative comments from your channel regularly?
Negative will hurt your brand. Always delete the negative comments if they are more than the positive comments on your channel.

Big brands might already be having employees for this. They cannot afford bad reputation.
