How important is deleting comments with negative feedback from channel?

Lot of negative comments on channel can cause serious issues. Like brands will stay away from such youtubers and not give deals. So, do you remove negative comments from your channel regularly?

If that's the case, delete that shxt. If it isn't boosted to the top then leave it. It helps with engagement

Depends on your content I would say, if you are showing off a product and someone trashes you for no reason, sure go ahead and delete it.

Have a bunch of your own YT accounts and set a bunch of dislikes to them. It must help to decrease their ranking.

It will not happen in all cases. The authority of account making comment and likes is also important.
 
Youtube doesn't like comments being deleted. It has a negative effect on the video views algorithm.
 
If it effects your brand, then you might want to delete it, but I don't advise you do it though because comments will affect the algorithm. Even negative comments can help your video get more seen in the algorithm just like thumbs down can. People who thumbs down your videos are idiots, they don't know it actually helps your video when it's rated either way. Not rating the video hurts you more, that's why for me whenever I watch a video that I don't like these days, I don't rate it at all.

I'd leave the negative comments up unless it's an important video to the reputation of your brand like a product review or something.

So deleting comments will give a negative signal to YouTube?
 
If it a Youtube channel for a business or branb, delete negative comments. Even better than that if in incase a negative comment is in violation of Youtube T&C, then report such comments, clearly mentioning which T&C of Youtube the comment is violating.

Yeah, it gives YouTube a negative signal to YouTube's AI as YouTube doesn't know if a comment is positive or negative unless you report it to them as negative. The YouTube algorithm will recognize all comments the same positive or negative and those comments enhance the visibility of the video. When you delete the comment it takes away the visibility of the video. It will be different if you reported the comment and it's removed from YouTube, that will, not hurt your video as much as deleting it yourself will do. Also, try blocking those viewers as well but never delete the comment itself.

Exactly, it's better to report the comments then to delete it yourself because YouTube's AI or algorithm views all comments the same whether it's positive or negative and comments are used to enhance engagement so that the video gets out to more viewers. Deleting it will hurt the engagement of the video so it's better to report it have YouTube remove it themselves because that won't hurt your video. Also, block the viewer or troll in the comments but never delete the comment itself unless it's in a brand situation.
 
How important is money for business.

Daily so much content and replies will be reported on YouTube. Do they have the time to take action on each?
 
Not deleting will debounce the flow. It's all about the content and the people who come to your channel further. think about your house is filled with tonnes of garbage and do you expect party garlanders will visit? The same scenario is on everywhere, so avoid stinking inside.

Big businesses and big brands have social media agencies handling their social media accounts, so it is possible for them to have the time and manpower for it.

There's a lot of truth to this as sometimes one negative comment can be a trickle effect as it leads other viewers on to be more negative in your comments section when they see one person doing it to set the tone. Although, I know deleting a comment will my video in the algorithm, if I don't want to see more negative comments pop up then I better stop the main source. I would suggest though not deleting it and just blocking the person instead which is better because they won't be able to have their comments seen on your channel again without a sock account and it doesn't hurt you in the algorithm.

Yes, that's right. It does work for some scenarios but not during promotional campaigns.
