Do you create comprehensive resources specifically designed to attract links, or do you usually build links toward content that was already created for search intent? It is much easier to ask someone to link to a genuinely useful resource than to promote a thin or generic article.

The content quality matters the most but not as a word-count game. A page gets links when it feels useful enough to cite, not when it just looks long. If the resource reads like a generic SEO article, outreach gets harder even if the topic is right.

Content quality is the key mate. It is. Nobody will even refer to your thin content. Why would I link to a page that has low quality content or is AI generated? It would cause me more harm than benefit. And if people do it (like for guest posting) the posts usually get de-indexed. And at moments, penalties might be incurred. So yep. Good and high-quality human written content has been the king, it still is and will always be!

Ofc, quality makes a great difference in the outreach process. I would rather promote one gud page than send 50 email with a worthless article.
