As per the title, I'm curious to see how you guys feel about domain names. How important is a really good one? would you pay hundreads or thousands for one you really want? Does it matter THAT much in Internet Marketing?

The domain name can be important if you want to do some mfa website.
Exact domain name are good for that so the domain name is important.

Great question! I have been asked this question a bazillion times. Some people do undervalue the domain name. Now you ask yourself how important is it for you to check the domain name before purchasing something? SweTech gave you a great example..

If you're going to create a sustainable business spending money on a domain name is critical.

If you're using a domain for a MFA site or some other cheap project that you will throw out in a few months time go with a cheap thing.

Very informative. I'm having a hard time picking a domain (im sure im not the only one out there) because all the good ones seem to be taken. The domain i REALLY i wanted is 6 figures so I'm going to try to find a way around it. Appreciate your input guys!

I know that domain are important for SEO but i think its not the number 1 factor to look in creating a website. Hence facebook, youtube, myspace and so much more big websites today have a domain that when they're starting the people dont know what they're visiting because of their domain names. so i guess its important its important but not a reall factor to determine if your website is good or not.
